For months, there have been ongoing rumors surrounding the possibility of a Red Dead Redemption remaster or, perhaps, a full remake. Despite the speculations, no official confirmation has been made as of now. However, recently, some interesting references surfaced following an update to Rockstar’s website, indicating that something related to Red Dead Redemption is in the works. The website listed a new version of Red Dead Redemption along with a fresh logo.

The original Red Dead Redemption, released in 2010, received widespread critical acclaim. Its 2018 sequel garnered an even larger player base, implying a substantial market for a revisit to the original game. Notably, the storyline of the original Red Dead Redemption is set after the events of Red Dead Redemption 2. Unfortunately, those eager to explore the continuation of the narrative have had limited options, as Rockstar never released a PC version of the first game.

“Rockstar Games Presents Red Dead Redemption”

The mounting evidence continues to fuel the anticipation for a Red Dead Redemption remaster or remake, and the latest development provides some of the most compelling proof yet. Rockstar Games’ website now references something called “Red Dead Redemption (Rockstar Presents Ver)” with the codename RDR1RSP, accompanied by a new logo stating “Rockstar Games Presents Red Dead Redemption.” While the official announcement is still pending, it seems only a matter of time before it is made.
